AXIOO SHIELD – AXIOO NOTEBOOK INSURANCE

This notebook insurance product from Adira Insurance provides compensation for total loss or damage of your Axioo notebook due to unintended, external and unexpected causes.

COVERAGE PROVIDED :

1. Fire (originating externally).
2. Lightning, causing fire in the notebook.
3. Civil disturbance, strike, crime, riot.
4. Natural disasters: earthquake, volcanic eruption, tsunami, flood, typhoon, storm, water damage.
5. Theft, or attempted theft accompanied by damage.
6. Unintentional damage.
7. Damage when the notebook is in transit.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

EXCLUDED RISKS:

1. Damage due to the insured party’s own carelessness or negligence
2. Gradual damage, including but not limited to wear, corrosion and the like
3. Loss or damage due to pre-existing error or defect
4. Damage caused by the product’s internal causes
5. Damage due to war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, conflicts or operations resembling war (whether declared or not) or civil war
6. Damage due to explosive, toxic, or radioactive materials or other hazardous materials from nuclear explosive materials or components
7. Damage due to the nature of the goods themselves (inherent vice).
8. Damage caused during dismantlement and installation (except during repairs).

INSURANCE ACTIVATION

This Notebook Insurance applies for activation processes in the period between 1 July 2010 and 30 June 2011.

Activate your insurance within 7x24 hours from the date of purchase (validity period of the Notebook Insurance is 12 months, starting from the date of purchase).

Select “notebook registration” from the menu, then follow these steps:

1. Select “register your notebook” (menu item 1).
2. Select “activate your policy” (menu item 3).

If you have problems activating, contact the sales department at the dealer/store where you purchased the notebook, or Adira Care. 

CLAIM PROCEDURE

1. Contact the dealer/store where you purchased the notebook no later than three days after the event.
2. Check whether your Notebook Insurance is still valid. (Insurance is valid for 12 months, counted from the date of purchase)
3. Provide all the necessary claim documents:
   • Photocopy of ID card (KTP)
   • Invoice for purchase of notebook
   • Original guarantee card & insurance card with stamp from store/dealer
   • Statement letter from local government (for natural disaster)
   • Statement letter from police (for robbery)
   • Fill in claim form (available at Axioo dealer/outlet or the nearest Adira Insurance office)
   • Take all claim documents to the nearest Adira Insurance office.
4. When the claim is approved, you will be required to pay a deductible (own risk).
